My Tardist problem has been solved: we were in town today with birthday money, and now I have my own. It comes with an instruction manual, so we found out about the hidden door switch and the spinning feature.

Problem Solved
Thursday, October 30th, 2008Little Dittle
Tuesday, October 28th, 2008I rely on Daisy’s bookmarks when I’m on a computer. She has a YouTube bookmark which searches for High School Musical songs (I call HSM ‘Little Dittle’) so I often watch a few of them. I also enjoy watching the films with her, I do a little bit of dancing but I especially like joining in with the rallying cry:
What Team?
Wildcats!
MacBoy
Tuesday, October 28th, 2008I like our new Mac but what I like even better is that we’ve kept the old one and got a big glass desk with them both on so me and Daisy don’t have to argue about who gets to play on the computer.
I also like our MacBook, though I find getting it out of basket is a bit of a strain, not only on my arms but also my ears as Dad usually states in a fairly equivocal manner that he would like to get it out and put it away for me. I haven’t got the hang of which way up it goes or of how to undo the magnetic catch that keeps the lid down, anyway. Or of putting it away power-connector facing upwards..
Tardist
Tuesday, October 28th, 2008Thomas and Freya opposite are on holiday, and I’ve borrowed Thomas toy Tardist for a day or so. The trouble is, although I know it’s really Thomas’ Tardist, it feels like it’s mine.
Coincidentally, Daisy calls it a Tardist too!
Wouldn’t It Be Nice
Friday, October 24th, 2008Mum took me to the beach today – I threw stones at the sea, ran about, and played with a lad in the playground, in the sandpit.
Funny No-No
Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008This morning while Mum was moving her car I emptied two big cartons of juice on the carpet in the living room. I tried to pour juice into a cup (I like to help myself) but missed, thought it was funny, and just carried on. Boy, did Mum shout at me when she came in!
Left Out
Tuesday, October 21st, 2008We go round to see Ben and Ellie on Tuesdays between Mum going to work and Dad coming home. Today, Daisy was wearing her East High cheerleaders outfit, Ben had on a Wildcats basketball kit, and Ellie was wearing an East High dress. All these, some of you might not know, are High School Musical themed, and there was me boringly wearing cords and a Thomas tshirt..
Dryzabone
Friday, October 17th, 2008I don’t wear nappies at all now, not even at night. The only small drawback is that we don’t really use baby wipes any more, which as every parent knows are the best thing for getting any stain out of anything – pen from sofa, juice from carpet, you name it.
Dadless
Friday, October 17th, 2008What with Dad’s broken foot, Mum’s appendix, and Dad working from home sometimes in his last job, I’ve got to see a lot of him over the last year. Now, though, he’s out the house all day – on Wednesday, I only saw him for a fleeting kiss before he went to work, because when Granny brought me home I was asleep and went straight to bed.
I’m quite consciously and studiously ignoring him when he gets home from work, which I hope he correctly interprets as meaning I’m not too happy about this state of affairs. I hope at least he starts working from home again.
Tarun & Maya
Monday, October 13th, 2008Mum and Dad had friends down for lunch yesterday: they have a son, Tarun, who’s just a little younger than me, and a little baby, Maya, who’s three months old.
I played with Tarun and mostly ignored Maya who spent all afternoon feeding and sleeping, but I did play with Maya once: I rattled a rattle for her, and held her little hand. Incidentally, she was delivered at home by her Dad, which isn’t something a lot of babies can say.
Me and Tarun mostly managed to share my toys, though I wouldn’t let him play with my Lightning McQueen car (it’s the toy I clutch at night while sleeping). We watched the film Cars while having our lunch, but it degenerated ito a feedback frenzy of ‘Me want that’ ‘No me want that’ ‘Me love that’ ‘No me love that’ even though it hasn’t any adverts in.
